A four-stroke (also four-cycle) engine is an internal combustion (IC) engine in which the piston completes four separate strokes while turning the crankshaft. A stroke refers to the full travel of the piston along the cylinder, in either direction.
The principle used in a four stroke petrol engine is commonly known as Otto Cycle. It states that there would be one power stroke for every four strokes. Such engines use a spark plug which is used for the ignition of the combustible fuel used in the engine. Most of the cars, bikes and trucks use a 4 stroke engines.

1, CDI Connection Method:
One is power wire, Black wire should connected to the sensor at the bottom side of engine. The middle wire can connected to tachometer， which can show RPM. ( You can choose to connect or not, it won’t affect the engine performance )
2, CDI can only be used with 7.4V battery
3, Connect three wire randomly. start the engine, if the engine is idling, exchange any two starter motor wire arbitrarily. (Don’t worry, it won’t cause any hurt to you)
4, For 11.1V battery is for starting motor. Connect the starter connection cable to 11.1V battery.
5, Then press start button.
1, Do not touch the motor fan with your hands to avoid scratching.
2, Do not touch the cylinder department with your hands to prevent burns.
